I'm Jillian, creative and lover and writer creator of and about T.V., film, and pop culture.
Ever since I started watching Between the Lions at 3 years old, it's like I could not get enough of stories on a screen.  I soon graduated to watching Hannah Montana, then became much too cool for that as a tween and switched to Adventure Time and The Regular Show. As a teen, I dove into the classic adolescent dramas of the 2010s, like Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, and The Fosters.
The television that shaped my teenage years stuck with me so much they inspired me to write my own screenplay. 

 In my teen years, my love for TV led me into fandom which led me to Tumblr, where I spent my days reblogging gif sets of my favorite characters. My experience there turned me into what my friends describe as a "meme queen," or in more modern terms, "chronically online," though I prefer the former. There's never a trend I miss, much to the chagrin of my friends who receive an "I've seen that," from me more times than they would probably like. To me, trends are stories in themselves; they tell us about where we are culturally at the present moment and how we choose to express our frustrations and joy alike.
